Welcome to the beginning of a new era for The Measurement Standard. Here at Salience Insight we are very grateful to Katie Paine for creating this publication and then nurturing it over the years, growing it into one of the world’s most well-read publications on media measurement and analysis. We feel a great sense of responsibility to ensure that we build on that legacy and continue to provide our TMS audience with useful advice, insightful commentary, and the latest news.
So all fine words... what does that actually mean for you, the readers?
We have lots of exciting ideas about extending the scope of The Measurement Standard. Waiting in the wings are a wide range of industry experts, and we look forward to sharing their news and views over the coming months. In addition, we plan to include more posts from our correspondents and offices in Europe and the Middle East.
What can we do for you?
As we plan this new era it is really important for you to tell us what you’d like The Measurement Standard to do for you. So we’ll shortly be asking for your views by means of a short survey. Please take part if you are able, it will ensure that The Measurement Standard reflects your interests and needs. (And if you have ideas or inspiration right now, I invite you to send them directly to myself or Editor Bill Paarlberg.)
In the meantime, please look over our latest edition, which features an article by myself, a note from Katie Paine, Bill's review of Jay Baer's new book "Youtility," and a contribution from our newest member of the Salience Insight family, Angie Jeffrey. We hope you enjoy it.
