The Simply Measured Analytics Blog has a nice review of the brief crisis following a distasteful mistweet posted from the official KitchenAid Twitter handle during the first Presidential debate. It was all over in six hours (see the chart) thanks to the very quick apology and damage control by Cynthia Soledad, senior director of KitchenAid. In fact, KitchenAid’s response was so professional that the brand gained over 1,000 new followers in the next day. ###
