PR News, a major trade publication among communicators, announced the winners at the award ceremony in New York City yesterday. The Platinum Awards is a highly competitive program that honors the best PR campaigns of the year.
Designed by KDPaine & Partners, SAS’s program of integrated social media and traditional media measurement combined in a single research effort the evaluation of messaging, exposure, favorability, positioning, and thought leadership. The research gathered news from hundreds of traditional and social media outlets to determine the extent to which the media was helping communicate SAS’s core messages and values – and the extent to which the presence of those messages contributed to increased web traffic and donations.
