And you thought PR research was boring

Live, from poolside in Miami -- its the International Public Relations Research Conference! Most of the luminaries in public relations research will be sharing their most recent results over the next few days. At night the talk about ways to evaluate our work continues with the creativity of the metrics increasing in direct correlation with the amount of alcohol consumed.

    Which wireless service sucks more?

I don't know which I hate more right now, Sprint or Boingo. Sprint hasn't let me log on for a week, and I've been on hold with them now for 40 minutes waiting for their technician. Their musack sucks, and I have no clue as to whether I might actually talk to someone in this lifetime. But then, Sprint, has always been this bad.

Boingo I've had issues with for years. I probably have 20 different accounts because every time I try to sign up it doesn't accept my existing password and/or log in. I just took me 30 minutes to log on their service for an hour. And my plane leaves in 20 minutes!

Why oh why can't these eejits figure out that the reason everyone has Blackberries is that their services suck and anyone with a Blackberry or an HP Ipaq can check their mail easily, but go forbid you might actually want to USE the wireless service you've paid for!

Could this whole Telco sector be the most negative out there? I know Neville Hobson had issues with Virgin Media and I had complete nightmare with Pipex, (part of Tiscali). It's hard to find an advocate for any of them!

Could not agree more. Boigo Wirless Service Sucks! I have now a blackberry which gives me access from any location to my email...no need for a service like Boingo
