Over on his Measuring Up blog , Ed Moed has started a great conversation about the silliness of measuring reputation by media alone. Okay all you media relations people who insist that ink is all that counts, your penance is to write on the blackboard 500 times (am I dating myself here or what?) as Ed says "Outputs do NOT equal outcomes"
