Tow company's are horrible..."storage fees" for a car that sits on an unused piece of lot? This is why the owners (and i won't name them) are living the good life while the people like us that they steal from can't get to work

After reading this article, all I can say is that it isn't fair to label an entire company "evil" due to the actions of one individual. As far as I've seen, tow truck DRIVERS come in all varieties: mean, nice, dirty, clean, overweight, in shape, old, young, man, woman, and all sorts of ethnic backgrounds. I agree YOUR ordeal must have been a nightmare, but to smear a company's name goes ten times further negatively for those other employees who are there to help you and all others in need of a tow.

as far as kick backs go it just dosen't work that way. With the cost of insurance, fuel, repairs, maintaing a storage yard and office and paying the driver there isn't a whole lot of room for profits let alone kick backs. Most towns and citys these days have strict rules on who they let on the towing rotation list. I've worked as a tow truck driver for 6 years and rule number one is get paid. If you don't have cash or a credit card your not going to get to far. Ask yourself what would you do if you were the business owner. "Oh you can't pay for the tow right now. No problem I'll just bring your car to where ever you want and you can pay when you get a chance"
