In a few minutes I'll be starting my "Measure the World" tour -- bringing the best PR measurement practices to Warsaw, Doha and Singapore . I'll be stopping in London to check out the AMEC awards dinner tomorrow night to find out who really is doing the best measurement work, and spending Thanksgiving in Islamabad. Watch this space for the ongoing adventures...

Point well taken, Jim. I hadn't meant to imply that Singapore didn't have good practices. My talk will be focused on the "best practices in measurement" around the world, not just those practices in the US.

We are looking forward to your visit to Singapore Katie and your expertise will be welcomed in this market. Perhaps though the wording in your blog of "bringing the best PR measurement to ... Singapore" is a tad over-stated - implying that the best PR measurement is not in this market. After running an office of CARMA International in Singapore as well as Sydney and spending 10 years in this market, and having a large body of clients using Best Practice measurement, I think we can say the best measurement is already in Singapore. Don't let US-centricity infect you too. Where we totally agree as comrades in measurement is that it is not done near widely enough yet and, to that end, we will welcome your contribution to our market.
