In response to Kami Huyse's comment, just to set the record straight, I'm not a "big gun." Our services start at $1500 a year and many of our clients are small non-profits or government agencies. Many are also PR agencies who do measurement for their clients because its the right thing to do, not because they get paid to do it. The cost of measurement tools has come down dramatically in recent years and one of the biggest problems that this industry has is the perception that measurement is expensive. As Kami points out, as an industry there needs to be much greater awareness of low-cost measurement tools. As we always say, its not the size of your budget, that matters, its the depth of the insight that research brings.
